These Wax Filters protect your hearing aid receiver from the effects of ear wax.

Quickguard filters fit directly into your earmoulds, or on the end of your in-the-ear hearing aids.

 

Product details:

There are 8 filters in one pack.

Quickguards are the newer generation of wax guards used on all Signia ear moulds. They have replaced the Siemens HF4 Pro Wax Filters which were red and blue in colour.

 

How to change your Wax Filters:

  1. Clean your earmould with a cloth
  2. Take out the black stick from the Wax Filter pack. There are two different ends to the black stick.
  3. Use the black end to pick up the old filer in the earmould (by using a screwing movement).
  4. Turn black stick around and insert the new filter (white end) into the now empty slot. It should fit snugly.
  5. Dispose of the black stick and the old filter.
  6. They should be changed monthly.

CeruShield filters protects the receiver from wax related problems.

For use with Phonak Marvel Hearing aids. This system is not compatible with the older systems.

CeruSheild  filters fit directly onto the end of your receiver

 

How to change your CeruShield Filters:

  1. Remove the dome with a cloth
  2. There are two deposits- 1 is the rubbish bin and opening number 2 is where you will collect the replacing filter
  3. Turn the disk clockwise until you see a new filter in opening number 2
    1. Place your fingers gently on the arrows of the Disk and turn
    2. Do not place your fingers on the openings of the Disk to turn, because this will block the rotation.
  4. Insert the end of the receiver into opening number 1 to remove the old filter
  5. Insert the end of the receiver into opening number 2 to collect the new filter
  6. Put the dome back on the hearing aid.
  7. You should change the CeruShield Filters once a month.

These Wax Filters protect your hearing aid receiver from the effects of ear wax, which can damage the electronic components of your hearing aid.

Red is for your right hearing aid. – out of stock – replaced by Quickguard
Blue is for your left hearing aid. – we have a few left but for the long term these have been replaced by Quickguard
These matches the colour of your hearing aids – Red for right and blue for left.

  1. Clean your earmould with a cloth
  2. Use the screw end on the removal tool to remove the old wax filter on your earmould. Dispose of the old filter
  3. Turn the wheel clockwise until you see a new filter.
  4. Pick up the filter using the pick end of the removal tool
  5. Insert the filter in the earmould so it is snug and flush.
  6. You should change your filters once a month.

There are 16 replaceable filters in each wheel. A removal tool is also included.
