So how do you apply for ACC hearing aid funding?&lt;\/p&gt;\n<p>You may qualify for ACC hearing aid funding if you:&lt;\/p&gt;\n<ul>\n<li>have had an accident in New Zealand that caused hearing loss in one or both ears&lt;\/li&gt;\n<li>have worked in a noisy environment in New Zealand and you believe that it caused your hearing loss.&lt;\/li&gt;\n&lt;\/ul&gt;\n<h2>ACC provides three levels of funding&lt;\/h2&gt;\n<p>The level of ACC hearing aid funding\u00a0for each claimant is decided by assessing each individuals situation and attributing how much of the hearing loss is due to the accident or noise exposure.&lt;\/p&gt;\n<h3><strong>ACC hearing aid funding for both ears (Binaural)&lt;\/strong&gt;&lt;\/h3&gt;\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Level 1 \u2013&lt;\/strong&gt;\u00a0$ 3157.90\u00a0(incl GST)&lt;\/li&gt;\n<li><strong>Level 2 \u2013&lt;\/strong&gt;\u00a0$3904.40 (incl GST)&lt;\/li&gt;\n<li><strong>Level 3 \u2013&lt;\/strong&gt;\u00a0$4953.05\u00a0(incl GST)&lt;\/li&gt;\n&lt;\/ul&gt;\n<h3><strong>ACC\u00a0hearing aid\u00a0funding for one ear (Monaural)&lt;\/strong&gt;&lt;\/h3&gt;\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Level 1 \u2013&lt;\/strong&gt;\u00a0$ 1873.35 (incl GST)&lt;\/li&gt;\n<li><strong>Level 2 \u2013&lt;\/strong&gt;\u00a0$ 2247.10 (incl GST)&lt;\/li&gt;\n<li><strong>Level 3 \u2013&lt;\/strong&gt;\u00a0$ 2770.93 (incl GST)&lt;\/li&gt;\n&lt;\/ul&gt;\n<div class='\"schema-how-to' wp-block-yoast-how-to-block\"="">\n<p class='\"schema-how-to-description\"'>How to apply for ACC hearing aid funding&lt;\/p&gt;\n<ol class='\"schema-how-to-steps\"'>\n<li class='\"schema-how-to-step\"'><strong class='\"schema-how-to-step-name\"'><strong>See you GP\u00a0&lt;\/strong&gt;\u2013\u00a0Your GP will send the ACC45 form to ACC&lt;\/strong&gt;\n<p class='\"schema-how-to-step-text\"'>The ACC hearing aid funding process starts with a visit to your GP. Your GP will need to apply to\u00a0ACC\u00a0on your behalf.&lt;\/p&gt;\n&lt;\/li&gt;\n<li class='\"schema-how-to-step\"'><strong class='\"schema-how-to-step-name\"'><strong>Fill out and return forms to ACC&lt;\/strong&gt;\u00a0&lt;\/strong&gt;\n<p class='\"schema-how-to-step-text\"'>ACC\u00a0will send you a pack with information and some forms to fill in and send back to them. They will ask about your accident or work history.&lt;\/p&gt;\n&lt;\/li&gt;\n<li class='\"schema-how-to-step\"'><strong class='\"schema-how-to-step-name\"'><strong>Audiologist Assessment&lt;\/strong&gt;&lt;\/strong&gt;\n<p class='\"schema-how-to-step-text\"'>ACC\u00a0will send you a request to see an Audiologist for a\u00a0<strong><a href='\"https:\/\/aucklandhearing.co.nz\/hearing-test\/\"' noopener\"="" rel='\"noreferrer'>full diagnostic hearing assessment&lt;\/a&gt;&lt;\/strong&gt;. Please give us a call at Auckland Hearing; we will make you an appointment. We will do a full diagnostic hearing test and fill in the forms to send them back to\u00a0ACC. ACC covers the cost of this hearing test.&lt;\/p&gt;\n&lt;\/li&gt;\n<li class='\"schema-how-to-step\"'><strong class='\"schema-how-to-step-name\"'><strong>ENT specialist appointment&lt;\/strong&gt;&lt;\/strong&gt;\n<p class='\"schema-how-to-step-text\"'>ACC\u00a0will make you an appointment to see an ENT specialist.
