]]> Floatable swim plugs: Standard swim plugs come in Red (right) and Blue (Left) colours, these are the only floatable colours.

Non – standard swim plugs and non-floatable and have an additional charge of $10 each. These include:

  • Colours include green, yellow, orange of pink fluoro or swirl (mix of 2 of these colours)
  • Clear, flesh tone
  • Glitter colours (non-floatable): red, blue, green, silver, gold – an additional charge of $10 each

Swim plugs cost $200 per pair (plus $60 for the impression appointment).

People usually get custom earmoulds for reasons of comfort and ease of use. They may, or may not, attenuate (reduce) more sound than well-fitted foam earplugs. This is because the attenuation of foam earplugs is variable depending on your ear canal

]]> Sleep plugs fit nicely into your canal, and so they are comfortable to lie on. Custom made earplugs work well for people who have difficulty either getting foam earplugs into their ears or keeping them there.

Colour: They come in clear silicon as standard, but you can choose from a range of other colours for an extra $10 per earplug.

You will need to make an appointment to come into the clinic so we can make impressions for your ear canals. These get sent off and made into custom earplugs for you.

Once we have the shape of your ears on file, we will not need to make further ear impressions for another 2-3 years (after that your ear canal shape may change, and the fit will not be so good). Therefore if you lose an earplug, just let us know and we can get a replacement made and sent out to you.
