Applying from overseas
To work as an audiologist in New Zealand you must have a Masters degree with equivalence to local qualifications: North American, Australian, and United Kingdom degrees qualify. For others, apply to the Qualifications Recognition Services for assessment. You may also be asked to demonstrate English language proficiency.
Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
To become a full member of the New Zealand Audiological Society you must pass a clinical assessment. This requires a period of clinical supervision by a full member of the society before sitting the clinical assessment.
